THE PROBLEM:
Adams received a call from a customer who believed they had a fault in their wiring which is causing half of the house to intermittently lose power for no reason.
ADAMS' SOLUTION:
Adams called to the property and traced the fault back to a maze of wires!
The Electrician found the towel rail wiring had been swapped with the hot water cylinder wiring. On further investigation, the Electrician also found the hot water cylinder and under tile heating were wired onto ripple control, which ultimately caused the fault. The Electrician changed the wiring to ensure that the hot water cylinder was correctly wired onto the ripple control and the towel rail and under tile heating were connected back onto the standard metre.
Problem solving easily.
